James McIntosh

James is a highly experienced coach, facilitator, and educator, combining his expertise in psychology, business, and leadership to support individuals and organizations in navigating high-pressure environments. He holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing), from the University of Wollongong, where he graduated with distinction and also made the Deans Merit List. His strong academic record reflects his ability to thrive in demanding academic and tertiary environments, managing the challenges of both rigorous coursework and competitive business landscapes.

With extensive experience in both the psychological and corporate sectors, James has worked in a variety of settings, from managing and directing roles to hands-on clinical practice in government, non-government, corporate and private small business roles. He has served as the Director, Manager and Principal Psychologist. He has worked in roles where he has led teams and provided strategic guidance, while also offering psychological support to individuals facing personal and professional challenges.

James’s diverse career also includes roles at Sydney Child Psychology, where he worked with children and families, and at large medical practices, providing psychological services in high-demand environments. Additionally, he has worked at a BRW fast 100 company, managing complex cases and supporting individuals through both physical and psychological recovery.

Throughout his career, James has developed a unique skill set in coaching, leadership, and psychological support, particularly in high-stress settings. His approach combines his deep understanding of human behavior with practical strategies to foster resilience, performance, and personal growth. James is dedicated to helping individuals and teams succeed under pressure, whether in academic, professional, or personal contexts.
